BMS Installation

Overview

EnergyTech was commissioned by Schneider Electric to provide a Building Management System (BMS) installation as part of ward refurbishments at Hexham Hospital. The project involved upgrading critical building systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and comfort for hospital staff and patients.

Challenge

Healthcare environments demand precision and reliability in all mechanical and electrical systems. The challenge was to integrate the BMS across multiple systems, including rooftop air handling units (AHUs), wet services plantrooms, and field wiring devices, while ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.

Solution

EnergyTech delivered the full BMS installation, including Main Control Panel (MCP) installation, containment, and all necessary wiring to the rooftop AHUs, wet services plantroom, and associated field devices. Our team coordinated closely with Schneider Electric and hospital stakeholders to ensure all work met stringent healthcare standards and operational requirements.

Outcome

The project was successfully completed to a high standard, providing Hexham Hospital with an efficient, reliable, and fully integrated BMS system.
